Our training project
Football holds an undeniable place in our society: it brings people together, stirs passions and strongly influences a child's life. Champion Football Club's work is to make that influence overwhelmingly positive.
Our teaching is adapted to each age group and follows the teaching approach best suited to their school level. We develop children's "multiple intelligences" so they can carry what they learn on the pitch into the classroom. Everything rests on passing on values: honesty, punctuality, sincerity, respect and love for Haiti.
Our values
What every player takes with them, on the pitch and in life.
Respect
For yourself, others, opponents, referees and the environment.
Team spirit
We win together, lose together and grow together.
Perseverance
Every effort counts; every setback makes you better.
Excellence
Aiming for the highest level, on the pitch and at school.
Discipline
Punctuality, honesty and sincerity: the foundation of all progress.
The four pillars of our school
Discovering, recruiting, mentoring and promoting young talent.
Discovering talent
Regular open trials where our coaches spot the gems ready to be polished.
Recruiting wisely
Beyond technique: passion, work ethic and team spirit.
Mentoring with care
Welcoming every child from age 4, passing on fair play and helping each one progress.
Promoting excellence
High-level competition and pathways to renowned clubs and academies.
Four stages, from 5 to 19
From play to football. Children step into sport gradually: dribbling and chasing games, juggling, small-sided games from 1v1 to 4v4. We develop coordination, reaction speed and endurance.
2 training sessions a week and 1 match day.
Technical foundations. Children learn to handle the ball, master basic individual and team skills and discover the competitive side of the game, in defence and attack.
2 to 3 training sessions a week and 1 match day.
The age when everything is learned. Players faithfully reproduce every move they see or are taught: individual and team technique comes first, and playing systems and tactical principles are introduced.
3 training sessions a week and 1 match day.
Towards the top level. Technical refinement, physical conditioning (endurance, speed, strength, flexibility), automatic team patterns and attacking and defensive strategy: competition takes centre stage.
3 training sessions a week and 1 match day.
A school organised like a big club
Technical department
The technical directorate plans short, medium and long-term work, selects and trains coaches and gives the school a clear football philosophy. Coaches lead each group according to the training plan.
Social and educational
Working with an educator, team delegates and parents, it completes the child's education: personal responsibility, relationships with others and respect for the environment, stage by stage.
Rules and services
Internal and disciplinary rules, preventive rather than punitive, guarantee a clear educational ideal. Administrative, financial, facilities and activities services support the whole life of the school.
Training footballers, yes. But first of all, women and men who stand tall and are proud of Haiti.
Sport and citizenship
Learning football is not only about producing professional players. Our holistic approach steers our players towards knowing and loving Haiti, respecting the environment, community service, solidarity and the value of education.
The "Champion family" (staff, parents and children) has visited the MUPANAH museum, the Crête-à-Pierrot fort and the Palace of 365 Doors, and spent days by the sea on the Côte des Arcadins.
